Larry King, an Olympia employment attorney, will answer questions on employment law and also deliver his perspectives after spending six months living with Afghan tribesmen learning about their dispute resolution system.


Larry J. King has been in private practice since 1995, specializing in employment law and personal injury. As a Mason County District Court Judge, he instituted offender work programs, inmate literacy and drug programs, traffic safety school and night court. He also works with National Association Securities Dealers and State Courts as an Arbitrator and Mediator. In addition Mr. King is a Justice for Northwest Intertribal Court System working with Native American Courts throughout the Northwest.

Mr. King is also a Fulbright Scholar, traveling to Islamabad, Pakistan for the U.S. State Department. He also has been an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice for Harford College in Germany and England; St. Martin's College and The Evergreen State College, Olympia.

Mr. King has been an active member of the Washington State Bar Association since 1971. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at University of Colorado, and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, at School of Law, Golden Gate University, San Francisco.
